About the role

Are you energized by the future of mobility and do you want to design and co-create the best charging locations? Then we’re looking for you. This position is open to a Junior Product Manager with a background in product engineering, technical design or graphic design who wants to apply these skills in a product management context. Furthermore, you are able to look at products from a broader perspective, with an understanding of the customer experience.

For the temporary replacement of a colleague going on maternity leave, we are looking for a Junior Product Manager to support our Site Design team.

In this role, you will work hands-on on both product management and design-related topics, including:

• Support the development, optimization and rollout of site design products that shape the look, feel and usability of Allego charging locations across Europe.

• Helping develop and maintain reusable design building blocks, guidelines and standardized solutions used across our charging stations.

• Reviewing and assessing location designs from our 7 regions, to support consistency, usability and compliance with guidelines.

• Depending on your background and experiences, creating location designs, layouts and visualizations to support internal alignment, decision making and communication.

• Depending on your background and experiences, making visual representations of products and site concepts, supporting our regional teams.

You will work closely with experienced Product Managers and interact daily with central and regional teams such as sales, project delivery, operations and marketing.

You will be based in Arnhem and may occasionally travel to Allego charging locations and regional teams.

You are result driven, eager to learn and highly self-motivated. You take ownership of your work and demonstrate strong organizational skills. Your flexibility, optimism, humor and “can-do” attitude fit well in a fast-paced environment.

As our ideal candidate:

• You have some experience or a strong interest in product management, product engineering and technical design.

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and have a strong technical interest.

• Experience in architecture, spatial (geography and) planning and/or location development is a plus.

• Experience with design, visualization or technical tools (e.g. Adobe, Figma, AutoCAD or similar) is a plus .

• You have a good feeling for usability, clarity and customer experience.

• Experience in the electric mobility or infrastructure domain is a plus, but not required.

• Your communication skills enable you to work with stakeholder on multiple levels.

• You are fluent in English, speaking another European language is a plus, but not required.

Due to the temporary nature of this position and the urgency, we are interested in applications from EU work permit holders.
