Job description

This is Allego

Allego is the leading company for fast and ultra-fast charging solutions to companies and consumers throughout Europe. We deliver state-of-the-art high power charging facilities that can be used by all electric cars and every EV driver, providing a seamless charging experience. Our goal is to contribute to zero emission mobility and allow EV drivers to charge at the right place with the right speed. The EV market is emerging and changing rapidly. With our proven track record and long experience, we keep driving forward with confidence.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Business Solutions Analyst who operates from a central IT perspective, at the intersection of business strategy, portfolio and roadmap planning, process insight, and IT delivery.

This role is primarily focused on shaping, structuring, and prioritising demand at portfolio level. You translate complex business needs into clear, decision‑ready initiatives, supporting prioritisation and roadmap planning across a multi‑domain IT landscape. Rather than being embedded in a single team or owning delivery, you provide a cross‑cutting, enterprise‑wide perspective that helps stakeholders make informed trade‑offs and sequencing decisions.

You combine strategic perspective with strong functional and business analysis skills, enabling better portfolio decisions, smoother execution, and a more coherent evolution of the IT landscape. Working closely with senior business stakeholders and IT leadership, you act as a trusted advisor who brings clarity to complexity - particularly within ERP‑ and platform‑heavy environments such as Dynamics 365.

What You Will Do

Shape demand and enable portfolio decisions

  • Engage and advise senior stakeholders across business and IT, supporting prioritisation and trade‑off discussions

  • Help business owners structure needs into clear, decision‑ready initiatives, including problem definition, intended outcomes, scope, value drivers, risks, and dependencies

  • Prepare and contribute to portfolio, roadmap, and governance discussions, enabling informed sequencing and prioritisation decisions across a multi‑domain landscape

Provide analysis, process insight, and solution direction

  • Apply strong functional and business analysis skills to translate complex needs into structured, IT‑ready inputs

  • Contribute to and leverage a well‑documented process landscape (process maps, functional descriptions, requirements, roles & responsibilities, policies, data standards, and KPIs)

  • Analyse business processes, workflows, and supporting systems to identify gaps, risks, constraints, and opportunities for improvement or automation

  • Develop solution proposals, including functional specifications, process flows, and use cases, to support both decision‑making and delivery

  • Act as a functional advisor to IT and delivery teams, ensuring solutions align with business intent, constraints, and architectural direction

Drive progress, alignment, and continuous improvement

  • Proactively surface risks, dependencies, and feasibility concerns early, and support stakeholders in addressing them

  • Ensure approved initiatives translate into progress and execution, not just documentation or alignment

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, and digital enablement across the application and ERP landscape

  • Influence senior decision‑makers with clear, evidence‑based insights

Job requirements

Your Profile

  • 7+ years’ experience in roles such as Business Solutions Analyst, Functional Analyst, Product Manager, or Portfolio Manager

  • Proven experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders, including senior leadership, guiding alignment and decision‑making in complex environments

  • Strong ability to structure complex business needs into initiatives, functional designs, and decision‑ready artefacts

  • Comfortable contributing to prioritisation, trade‑offs, and portfolio or governance discussions, including situations with incomplete or evolving information

  • Solid understanding of agile delivery environments and the impact of roadmap decisions on teams

  • Structured, analytical, pragmatic, and a strong communicator in English

Strong plus:

  • Experience with Dynamics 365, especially Finance & Operations, or other ERP‑heavy environments

Our offer

This role allows you to work within a team of specialists contributing directly to the technology powering European EV charging.

We offer:

  • A monthly salary between €6.000,- and €7.500,-

  • 8% holiday allowance

  • 5,94% end-of-year premium (guaranteed!)

  • 4% personal budget

  • A solid pension scheme (ABP)

  • Hybrid working: a healthy balance between our Arnhem office and working from home

You’ll join colleagues who are motivated to make a real impact and who believe that working together is the key to driving zero-emission mobility forward. Expect a challenging role in a fast-paced, ambitious environment where you can grow, and innovate.

Application process

If you are interested in this position, we would like to ask you to apply before May 13th. After May 13th, we will organize first rounds of interviews.
