The job

The Business Solutions Analyst will play a key role in analyzing, optimizing, and aligning business processes with ERP system capabilities to improve operational efficiency. This role focuses on understanding end-to-end business processes, identifying gaps, and driving functional improvements. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between Business Stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that the resultant solutions support the business goals effectively.

 

Your responsibilities will include

Performance and compliance

• Maintain a well-documented Process Framework to drive the desired business results (process maps, functional business requirements, roles & responsibilities, policies and procedures, data standards & KPIs).

• Analyze and evaluate business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and automation.

• Develop detailed solution proposals, including functional specifications, use cases, and process flow diagrams.

Liaison and advisor to process stakeholders

• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, objectives, and goals.

• Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the solution development lifecycle.

• Assist in project planning, including defining scope, timelines, and resource requirements. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Develop and deliver training materials, conduct training sessions, and provide ongoing support to facilitate smooth transitions and drive successful process adoption within the business.

Continuous improvement and change

• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to business analysis and functional design.

• Identify opportunities for process optimization, innovation, and digital transformation to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the business landscape.

• Support change management initiatives by assessing the impact of proposed IT solutions on business processes, organizational structure, and end-users.

• Owns and evaluates enhancement lists to facilitate continued process improvement.

Job requirements

This is you

You have experience in a similar role and although you will be working from within our Finance department you speak the IT language. You have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Dynamics F&O consultant, providing an in depth knowledge of the business processes within the application, with an added advantage of being experienced in the Dynamics CE system. You are an end-to-end thinker, are inquisitive and you have an understanding of up- and downstream effects of root causes and solution initiatives. Furthermore, you are considered a problem solver, you find the source of the problem and initiate/mobilize for a sustainable solution. Last but not least, you are able to influence senior decision-makers on topics related to the process, as well as inspire operational process users in the functional design.
