Site Planner (M-V)

Job description

Reporting directly to the Team Lead European Network Development, you oversee and handle the planning process: you work with Sales to convert leads into partnerships, having the direct contact to location partners and public bodies. Internally you organize the location planning, and work closely together with the Realization Management team. You are also responsible for alignment with electric grid operators regarding grid connections, for the required permitting, and for ensuring that all necessary preparation for handovers to the Realization team are done properly.

 

  • Coordination of deployment planning for complex charging networks
  • Alignment with location partners finding the optimal commercial and technical solutions
  • Organizing the location planning and overseeing all required applications and permits
  • Prepare the charging location deployment for the Realization team

Requirements

You are a thorough professional with a good feeling for business opportunities, have a pragmatic approach to technical challenges, and are able to develop trusting relationships on all levels. You have a technical or commercial background, with experience in roll-out projects. You encountered wide-ranging insights in the sectors of electrical or civil engineering and are well familiar with construction project management. You bring experience in planning and building processes ranging from initial planning, negotiations with partners and official authorities, until delivering turn-key construction projects. Therefore you have knowledge of national building laws and are familiar with building application procedures. You are solution-oriented, understanding also the business relevant criteria for the expansion of our charging network while focussing on the customer needs. It will inspire you to work in the fast pace environment of the e-mobility sector and to transform innovative ideas into reality. The focus is on delivering high-quality results, in time. Though based in Germany you will work also on international projects within a multicultural environment so we expect you to embrace cultural diversity and to be able to corporate successfully with colleagues across language and country frontiers.  

 

  • 3 years of experience as a technical project manager in construction projects
  • Extensive knowledge about infrastructure deployment, building laws and execution of permit application procedures
  • The ability to understand the needs of our customers and partners, having a good feeling for business opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills and a highly structured way of working
  • Excitement to work in the highly innovate sector of sustainable mobility
