Senior Site Acquisition Coordinator (m/f/d)

Job description

Reporting directly to the Team Lead European Network Development, you oversee and coordinate the acquisition of new locations in our European ultra-fast charging network. You translate European network expansion goals into sales targets, report on the acquisition progress and you make sure targets are met. You advise on which locations to acquire, based on a thorough understanding of EV business cases and forecasting models. You work with local sales managers to convert leads into partnerships. You accelerate acquisition by removing structural barriers to acquisition on a European scale. Internally, you are responsible to align with the Network Planning team on location selection and with the colleague from Site Planning on the technical detailing of the charging location.

  • Oversee and coordinate acquisition of new ultra-fast charging locations to create a European network in 20 countries
  • Bring in contract agreements under strict timelines which meet the financial and legal requirements for project financing. Educate and advise local sales managers to convert acquisition leads into closed contracts
  • Design, implement and improve a standardized acquisition process; remove structural barriers; ensure basic acquisition requirements for each country
  • Close collaboration with Network Planning and Site Planning departments to align financial, legal, geographical and technical requirements
  • Assure meeting network expansion targets and timely Management Reporting



You are a thorough professional with a strong feeling for business. You have a pragmatic approach to commercial challenges, and are able to effectively communicate and to develop trusting relationships on all levels. You have a commercial background, with experience in infrastructure, contracting and (ideally) mobility.

You are solution-oriented, understand the business relevant criteria for the expansion of our charging network while focussing on the customer needs. It will inspire you to work in the fast pace environment of the e-mobility sector and to transform innovative ideas into reality. The focus is on delivering high-quality results and in-time delivery. As your role is particularly international and you will work in a multicultural environment, we expect you to embrace cultural diversity and to be able to corporate successfully with colleagues across language and country frontiers.

  • Bachelors, undergraduate degree in a commercial field required;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experiences in location acquisition or a similar role required
  • Working knowledge of site acquisition process, zoning codes, procedures and how various government agencies operate
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with superior organization skills and ability to effectively manage time
  • Inspiring team player with leadership qualities, bridging multicultural differences
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task and work effectively with limited supervision
  • Ability to work under aggressive project schedules
  • Excellent computer/reporting skills, including a high level of proficiency with MS Excel and other database/project management tracking tools
  • Travel up to 50 % (max.) of the time, including short notice travel, national and international
