For this role, we expect you to have a home office set up and be available to travel to the Allego headquarters in Arnhem, the Netherlands and the FRISP hub in Paris.

 

This is the job

The Sales and Account Manager Spain within the FRISP region (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal) is responsible for closing contracts on a national scale. In this role you will tailor the Segment strategies to the country specific situation to maximize impact and identify market potential, both private and public, based on your in depth knowledge and understanding of the Spanish market dynamics as well as the Allego value proposition. As a result, you will identify key accounts and you will close contracts with them.

  • Identify channels to customers (such as installation partners, hardware suppliers etc), or customers directly (retail, OEM, oil & gas, municipalities etc) with a high number of (to be electric) vehicles, depending on a full operability 24/7 and with growing potential;
  • Identify the end-to-end hurdles to overcome and act upon from the beginning (Grid connection, building permitting, regulations, business model, etc) to turn leads into contracts and accelerate sales cycles;
  • Align with Segment Management for tailoring propositions and Go-to-Market to the country specific situation;
  • Deliver offers of EV-charging solutions to companies actively looking into sustainability / reducing their carbon footprint;
  • Negotiate and close contracts;
  • Report on market requirements and competitor’s positioning, project opportunities and progress (deal size, expected closure date etc);
  • Work with Segment management and Product management on the (development)roadmap definition and improvement of new products and product adaptations;
  • Identify key events and orchestrate Allego‘s presence;

Collaborate with your colleagues within the FRISP office (Regional Office for (France, Italy, Spain & Portugal) in Paris: Marketing/Communications, Sales, Project Management, Realisation, Operations.

Requirements

Within the new world of electric mobility you are able to explore and define market requirements from both customer and trends & drivers perspective identifying new opportunities, closing deals and creating long term relationships with clients and partners.

  • You are able to look ahead and provide strong strategic insights with a strong sense of priority with a flexible, optimistic and ‘can-do’ attitude;
  • You have experience in integrating business support processes and feel comfortable in creating project proposals and challenge Allego’s offerings;
  • You are switched-on; actively seeking for the right information to build new propositions for our clients;
  • You bring knowledge and network in the Spanish Electric Mobility market.
  • Spanish native language and excellent language skills in English- written and verbal are a must;
  • You have experience in sales and account management;
  • You have a regulatory and technical basic understanding of the delivery process of chargers in Spain specifically.
