Allego is a leading European Charging solutions provider for electric vehicles. Our customers can count on reliable, cost-effective and smart charging solutions for home, work and on the road. Our goal is to contribute to carbon neutral transport by supporting all EV transport mobility formats allowing EV drivers to charge when and where they need to. We have earned the trust of a significant number of customers and developed solutions for HomeCharging, Fleet Management, High Performance Charging, Public Transport, and on street charging. 


To maintain high quality sales across different markets and countries, we are looking for a new Account Manager for the DACH Region. We want everybody to go electric, join us to make this happen!


The Job

As Sales and Account Manager within the DACH region you will be responsible for closing contracts on local and national scale. In this role you will tailor the segment strategies to the country specific situation and customers to maximize impact and identify market potential, based on your in depth knowledge and understanding of the market dynamics as well as the Allego value proposition. As a result, you will develop contacts, identify key accounts, offer targeted solutions and close contracts.

You will:

  • Align with the regional MD and Segment Management for tailoring propositions and Go-to-Market to the country specific situation;
  • Identify channels to customers or customers directly (retail, OEM, oil & gas, municipalities etc) with a high number of (to be electric) vehicles
  • Make sure we understand customer needs in order to offer and sell tailored solutions (hardware and software) and services based on our proposition portfolio
  • Acquire sites for our existing pan-European charging infrastructure
  • Report on the sales-funnel and progress, strategic account management and planning.
  • Identify the end-to-end hurdles to overcome and act upon from the beginning (Grid connection, building permitting, regulations, business model, etc) to turn leads into contracts and accelerate sales cycles;
  • Work with Segment management and Product management on the (development) roadmap definition and improvement of new products and product adaptations;
  • Report on market requirements and competitor’s positioning, project opportunities and progress (deal size, expected closure date etc);

Requirements

What you bring:

Within the new world of electric mobility you are able to explore and define market requirements from both customer and trends & drivers perspective identifying new opportunities, closing deals and creating long term relationships with clients and partners.

  • Several years of experience and proven track record of selling complex technologies and/or IT services
  • An extensive network in retail, real estate, technical consultancy and/or leisure, work experience in the e-mobility sector is a strong plus
  • Enthusiasm for our technology, electric mobility and the energy transition
  • Technical background is highly desirable
  • You are able to look ahead and provide strong strategic insights with a strong sense for business priority
  • Flexible, optimistic and ‘can-do’ attitude
  • You're a team player and enjoy the creative freedom we can offer
  • You are proactive; actively seeking for the right information to build new propositions for our clients;
  • Excellent German and English-skills, written and verbal, are a must;
  • Drivers license
  • Availability to travel
