The PMO (Project Management Officer) oversees all the projects to ensure the desired result are delivered, the resources are used in the most efficient way and all the different interests involved are satisfied.


This is the job

As Project Management Officer you are part of a team that controls the projects as well as delivers hands-on services to the projects. You play a pivotal role in improving project management within Allego. You lead by example and you advise (wanted, or not) on best practice and/or best next steps going forward in the projects.  Together with the project controllers you make sure project or program controls are in place and reporting is done in an open and professional manner. You report to the team lead PMO with a daily relationship and reporting line to the project or program managers.

  • Produce and maintain Project Management and HSEQ plans together with the Project Manager;
  • Prepare, structure, and follow-up on project meetings;
  • Monitor and track actions, issues and risks, and troubleshoot if necessary;
  • Produce internal and external project reports;
  • Continuous Improvement of administrative support, project management tooling and practice;
  • Support of any ad-hoc requirements that arise within the projects.



This is you

You are an experienced PMO who has worked on multiple (client) projects, ideally in the energy, automotive or EV industry and you feel at home in the dynamics of a project environment. You have a talent for transferring information into crisp management reports and easily create structure in a multi-disciplinary (project) organization.

You are a team player, service oriented, flexible and keen to lend a helping hand. You are an excellent communicator who is understanding but firm when required. You are assertive in achieving the objectives asked.

  • A bachelor degree / university degree;
  • Knowledge and experience in (international) project management or project management support;
  • 3 to 6  years of relevant project experience or in a role with similar tasks;
  • Strong communication and organization skills;
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Experience in procurement, contract management is considered a plus
