A bit more about the job

At Allego the Project Controllers acts as a true business partner. They are driven, are capable of building strong relationships with all stakeholders and have a strong business sense. In this role you will have the opportunity to create new insights and reporting. This will be your main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for business forecast, project status updates, both financially and operational;
  • Review monthly financial finance results and business metrics and provide helpful insights to Allego Board and Managing Directors;
  • Review business line projects and support optimization, to ensure plans meet investment threshold, reflect realistic timeline, costs and risk levels;
  • Analyze KPI’s, use internal benchmark and profit & loss reports to support decision making and improving execution and profitability;
  • Review pricing and ensure timely action in price adjustments;
  • Develop & implement processes & models for improving accuracy, timeliness & completeness of financial results and reporting;
  • Implementation of tools to support and advise the business cost calculation and gross margin in the key strategic decision making processes;
  • Improve stakeholder reporting on a monthly basis.

Requirements

This is you

  • Located near Berlin;
  • Hands on mentality and intrinsic drive to deliver results;
  • Master degree in Finance & Accounting (post Masters would be considered a plus);
  • Minimum of 8-10 years experience in Finance, with at least 5 years of experience in FP&A and/or business control;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German;
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills;
  • Strong expertise with business cases and business modeling;
  • Strong organizational skills to manage workload and keep prioritization;
  • Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
