Almost every day the press writes about the EV market, which is expected to grow exponentially in the coming decade. Allego is a leading independent European Electric Vehicle (EV) charging solutions provider with a high level of expertise and capabilities in all EV-related infrastructure (charging at home, at work, at public spaces, along highways, as well as public transport). All these services are enabled by a modern EV Cloud IT platform.

As people are key, we have dedicated focus on people in our steering model.  We are looking for a People Manager for the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region located in Berlin area, Germany.

 

The role:  As a People Manager you are responsible for creating the circumstances in which people can be fully committed and in this way driving the business. Fully focused on people, you naturally give people all the needed attention and create a meaningful environment in which people constantly collaborate to have added value based on their talents. You truly understand which people and talents are needed in order to excel in this context and vast international growth. 

 

You actively work with people to achieve their full potential by organizing coaching sessions (by external coaches), giving feedback and attention. You constantly work on achieving the best match between the drive and talent of people and Allego business needs with all its challenges. The result being the right people available and excelling for the business, based on their expertise, competences and expected behaviour. Conditions to develop are set and people are able to seize opportunities.

You have vision, passion and you are empathetic. You are driven by people with full focus on  added value and development of all Allego employees. You excel in defining and managing expectations, you are open and transparent, and you have a natural authority. You are able to influence on how people collaborate.  

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor or University degree plus 7-8 years of relevant working experience.
  • Management and coaching experience is essential. Ideally a combination of business administration, HR, (change) management, talent development and coaching in a technical environment.
  • Understands the Allego business. Knows the needs of employment in the value stream  Knows what skills and expertise is needed in the value stream
  • Keeps professional expertise of people management up to date, and shares insights in the organization.  
  • Is seen as an authority and sparring partner by being open, calm, empathetic, transparent, honest and sincere. Takes time to listen and looks critically at the added value.
  • Inspirational in his/her way of working, focused on collaboration. Able to share his/her vision of the organization and by that helping Allego in realizing its business objectives. 
  • Adaptable; experienced working in an international environment is preferred. 
  • Excellent in German and English (verbal and written), other European is a strong plus
