Network Planner (M-V)

Job description

To enhance our European Network Planning team that is largely centralized in Berlin, we are looking for a motivated Network Planner who is keen to operate in an international environment. A large part of the job exists of gathering data and using this data within GIS-tools, Microsoft excel and Power BI to find the best locations to extend our charger network. Since we are one of the main players in this new and growing industry, you will be able to shape the future of transport. You will mainly work with our Sales and Data Modelling colleagues to deliver and assess potential locations, and of course with your network planning colleagues. You will report to the team lead of our European Network Development team.

 

  • Find the best locations for new chargers based on demand, existing infrastructure and other spatial factors
  • Translate the company strategy into the charging network of the future
  • Continuously improve the network planning process and knowledge base

Requirements

You have strong analytical skills and are able to independently deploy new ways of working to continuously adapt to the rapidly changing environment we are working in. Experience in data analysis and a deep interest in spatial planning are essential, best combined with at least basic experience in programming or database handling.

You enjoy working with numbers and are always looking for ways to use data to improve our results and forecasts. Strong communication skills are required since you will collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders. As we will expand our network to many European countries, you are not afraid of fellow-Europeans.

 

 

  • 3-5 years of experience as analyst, data scientist or comparable data related job
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with numbers
  • Excel knowledge is a must, GIS (QGIS), Python and/or SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Fluency in English
  • Excitement to work in the highly innovative and international sector of sustainable mobility
