To further expand our operations in the UK we are looking for a Location Developer to help us deliver charging facilities that can be accessed by all EV drivers; providing a seamless, interoperable charging experience. Our goal is to contribute to zero emission mobility by installing EV charging facilities at the right location with the right solution. The EV market is growing and changing rapidly and Allego is on the road to stay ahead.

A bit more about the job

As Location Developer you are responsible for the identification and securing of locations in the B2B sector for EV Charging locations for Allego to develop. You will represent Allego by directly engaging location owners to determine their interest and gain buy-in to commercially develop their land.. You will be targeting, mostly larger businesses, that we can create a symbiotic long term relationships.

In this role you will:

  • shape relevant market intelligence to strategic property asset management plans;
  • build and maintain a sales pipeline with leads and prospects
  • create a solid and sustainable business case for each new project;
  • deal with location owners with regards to negotiating land boundary’s LOA, HOTs, option to lease and purchase agreements and the legal structures that come with it;
  • manage internal and external stakeholders during each new project in a way that everybody involved remains aligned. But also our existing clientele gets your undivided attention.


This is you

To be successful in this exciting new role you have a proven track record in location development in the renewable energy sector. EV experience is a plus, but knowledge can be learned. We rather see that you have experience of engaging location owners. On top of that, you have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • You are a strategic relationship builder with both internal/external project stakeholders demonstrating personal integrity with a win/win mindset;
  • You have the ability to quickly build and develop customer relationships through existing contacts and relationships;
  • You are a strategic thinker who is prepared to make strong commercial decisions;
  • You are analytical and problem-solving skills to anticipate and resolve issues;
  • Good reporting and presentation skills;
  • A good understanding of the legal and legislative framework relating to real estate.
