A bit more about the job

As General Ledger Accountant, in our complex and international environment, you ensure the efficient running of the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Fixed Asset Ledgers. You provide input for cash flow forecasting, debt collection and adherence to capitalization policy. This position requires taking ownership of the accounts and acting on any discrepancies. Although this is an independent position, you will work closely with two team members in a similar function and colleagues from other departments within Allego such as procurement and operations. The international character of Allego gives an extra dimension to this position and it offers several opportunities to grow within our organization.

This is you (we hope)

• You hold a Bachelor degree in accounting or similar and you have several years of relevant work experience;
• You are living in the Netherlands;
• Experience with Dynamics is a plus;
• You are comfortable with co-working and coordinating with different internal and external persons;
• You are pro-active and have a hands-on approach;
• You can easily navigate between tasks;
• You are structured, analytical and organized by nature;
• You are able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines;
• You have strong communication skills and are fluent in English (Dutch and/or German is a plus);
• A great sense of humor would be nice!
