Allego is the leading company for fast and ultra-fast charging solutions to companies and consumers throughout Europe. We deliver charging facilities ranging from regular home charging to state-of-the-art high power charging that can be used by all electric cars and every EV driver, providing a seamless charging experience. Our goal is to contribute to zero emission mobility and allow EV drivers to charge at the right place with the right speed. The EV market is emerging and changing rapidly. In order for us to expand our online presence and drive more traffic to our charging stations, we are looking for a digital marketing intern who will focus on our content marketing.

A bit more about your job

You support our marketing team in managing the content of our websites allego.eu and smoovapp.eu. In addition, you will take ownership over our email marketing campaigns and support our digital marketing manager in growing Allego's marketing automation efforts. Even though part of the work can be done remotely, it is important that you study at a Dutch school or university to be considered for this role.

Our team

You will be part of the team that manages the content for our websites, blog, social media channels, online campaigns (SEA, display, social), e-mail marketing, marketing automation and other digital marketing assets. We are a small results-oriented team of experienced marketers working with our international colleagues and agencies. Focusing on growing Allego’s online presence, building relationships within the online EV-drivers community and driving traffic to our charging stations.

This is you

We are looking for an energetic, fun and detailed person that is able to manage content on our platforms in a professional manner. Someone that is not afraid to take initiative and gets things done. You are eager to learn new platforms and strategies and get energy from seeing your content on our websites and other digital channels.

• You are a 3^rd or 4^th year student studying marketing or related studies at a Dutch school.

• You are looking for an internship, which starts in September 2022.

• You are available for 32 to 40 hours a week.

• You are an energetic and highly communicative person.

• Excellent communications skills; written and verbal in English.

• The ability to move around in organizations and easily connect with colleagues.

• An organized personality, as in the dynamic world of Allego we could use some of that.

• A self-starting mentality, you will have a lot of autonomy, but we expect you to go for it.

• You are a fast learner and find your way around new platforms easily.

• You have a head start if:

• You have experience with web content management systems (we are using the Sitecore platform, but any CMS experience is helpful).
• You have experience with setting up and managing e-mail newsletters.
• You know your way around the most common online tools like Canva, Google Analytics, and Adobe Creative suite.

Your ideas are very welcome, and you will have a chance to implement them if they support our goals. Of course you will receive compensation for your internship. This amounts to € 500 gross on a full-time basis.
