Does the electric mobility environment and complex negotiations energize you? Within our Supply Chain Management department we would like to welcome an enthusiastic Commodity Buyer Installation and Services. The Commodity Buyer is responsible for sourcing, managing supplier relations and contracting key installation and service supplier(s). He or she is capable of building bridges with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, has a high spend responsibility and frequent exposure to Commodity Management. The Commodity Buyer reports to the Supply Chain Manager.   

Job Mission 

The Commodity Buyer is responsible for scouting and contracting new suppliers and further strengthening and development of Allego’s existing key supplier relations. He or she acts as a strong leader and assures the realization of strategic, tactical and operational goals in the sourcing and procurement domain. 

The Commodity Buyer Installation and Services:

  • Has a good understanding and network in the European infra-technology installation and services market
  • Has a vast experience in the scouting and sourcing of installation and services suppliers
  • Has experience in the hands-on execution of competitive pricing strategies
  • Leads and executes negotiations for deals within the assigned category
  • Is able to negotiate on senior management level with suppliers
  • Understands how to act in a young and rapidly expanding (electric mobility) market – in time contracting of partners is crucial to increase Allego’s marketshare
  • Builds and maintains long-term relationships with international suppliers
  • Uses subject matter expertise and market knowledge to shape the stakeholders demand
  • Involves selected suppliers in early stages of New Product Introduction of Allego
  • Interacts with internal stakeholders (Technical Consultancy, Product Management and Marketing, Realization and Operations) on all levels within the organization.
  • Is willing to travel abroad 30% of his/her time



Higher vocational education/Master-degree in Electronics and/or Mechanical Engineering


  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in an international electrical engineering and services environment
  • Experienced and strong negotiator
  • Team player with proven ability to successfully manage complex multi-disciplinary projects
  • Experience with relationship management and electronics/mechanical know how
  • Excellent in French and English (verbal and written)

He or she is analytical, structured, accurate and able to maintain overview, assess priorities and focus on concrete results.      

Context of the position:

As a supply chain integrator, Allego focuses on selecting the right Electronic Vehicle (EV) charging technologies in the market and integration of its supply chain. Therefore a high level of flexibility must be built into the supplier network and the right SLAs contracted. The Supply Chain Management Department supports the Allego regions in the qualification and development of this global network.
