As we accelerate our position in providing Ultra-Fast Charging, we are expanding our operations in the UK. We are looking for a Business Support Officer to help us deliver solutions that can be accessed by all Electric Vehicle (EV) drivers; providing a seamless, interoperable charging experience. Our goal is to contribute to zero emission mobility by installing Ultra-Fast EV charging facilities at the right location with the right solution. The EV market is growing rapidly and Allego is on the road to stay ahead.

About the job

Allego have a healthy and increasing pipeline of projects in UK and Ireland. We are looking for a new colleague to help support our Team by taking control of the back office operation, meaning:

  • create, send and follow-up purchase orders
  • follow-up on invoicing process and make sure that money keeps rolling in
  • setup and create periodic reporting about progression and ensure rolling payments are processed in an efficient and timely manner
  • support the purchasing department with project-specific procurement including materials and energy supply contracts
  • communicating with our customers, suppliers and subcontractors to coordinate/clarify commercial issues
  • ensuring policies, memberships and subscriptions are kept up to date
  • organize events, meetings and mail
  • support onboarding of new suppliers and clients
  • support managing stock and customs declarations
  • manage central log of contracts and support in renewals

In this position you will be working either from an office in the Midlands region or remotely from home.

This is you

To be successful in this exciting new role you will take responsibility for accurate and timely settlements. You can quickly switch between the different tasks and topics. Keeping an holistic view, balancing and prioritizing administrative tasks with those that are of strategic importance come naturally to you. Besides that you are:

  • willing to take responsibility and can work independently
  • able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and have a firm grasp of the numbers
  • structured and goal-oriented
  • open and communicative
  • adaptable to changing priorities
  • skilled in Microsoft Office (use of MS Project, MS Visio and MS Dynamics is a big plus).
  • You live in the Midlands region
