The Business Development Manager within the eTrucks and eCoaches Segment is responsible for its development on an international scale. In this role you will build a  business development plan identifying market potential based on in depth knowledge and understanding of the segment dynamics as well as the Allego value proposition. As a result, you will identify key accounts and develop winning EV Charging solutions.

  • Identifying the robust charging infrastructure for customers with a high number of (to be electric) vehicles, depending on a full operability 24/7;
  • Develops a segment plan and set‘s out a PMC-strategy targeted on the various end users within the segment;
  • Connects to internal stakeholders and creates support for Go-to-Market plan;
  • Initiates pilot (customer) projects on technologic and/or customer use cases, possibly within (EU) funding programs;
  • Report on market requirements, project opportunities and progress, strategic proposition management and planning;
  • Working with Product management on the roadmap definition and improvement of new products and product adaptations;
  • Identifies key events and orchestrates Allego‘s presence;
  • Initiates pilot (customer) projects on technologic and/or customer use cases, possibly within (EU) funding programs;
  • Interprets and evaluates specific requests from the regions or specific accounts, translating in a change request for PPM, based on valid business potential;

Within the new world of electric mobility you are able to explore and define market requirements from both customer and trends & drivers perspective, identifying new opportunities and creating long term relationships with clients and partners.

  • You are able to look ahead and provide strong strategic insights with a strong sense of priority.
  • You have experience in integrating sales & business support processes and feel comfortable in creating project proposals and challenge Allego’s offerings.
  • You are switched-on; actively seeking for the right information to build new propositions for our clients.
  • You bring knowledge and network in the Automotive market segments (preferably truck and bus/coach).
  • Excellent language skills in English- written and verbal are a must; working knowledge of German and a technical background are highly desirable.
  • Experience with sales/business development in electric mobility would be an advantage.
