A bit more about the job

As a Business Developer EV Charging Solutions you will expand our business across Europe by developing and maintaining long term partnerships. You focus on international companies that transform their own fleet or embed EV charging in their services towards their customers, guests and employees. Together with a engaged commercial team you will identify and analyze new opportunities, define customer- and business centric solutions and contribute to new activities and services to position Allego in the EV market

To be successful in this role you must be highly result driven, customer oriented and be able to work within different segments. Your analytical skills and entrepreneurial way of working makes you able to understand our business models and turn our solutions into commercial viable offers for our customers. Your ability to understand what it takes to create a seamless charging experience leads to proposals that integrate the hardware-, installation-, energy- and digital space.

This all will result in you:

· Delivering offers of EV-charging solutions to companies actively looking into sustainability / reducing their carbon footprint;

· Negotiate and close contracts;

· Build solid business cases and monitor the delivery of the contracts;

· Align on propositions and Go-to-Market to the country specific situation;

· Report on market and segment requirements and development.


This is you

You have a degree in business administration or economics and you are seasoned in strategy or business development within consultancy or a large corporate business. You have experience with projects in mobility, energy or infra projects. Your ability to work fact-based, look ahead and provide analytical insights, combined with a strong ‘can-do’ attitude will be deal closing combination we are looking for. And of course you can prove your ability to close large size commercial contracts. We are especially interested in candidates located in Germany (Dusseldorf / Ruhr area). You also have:

· Similar experience in a fast paced, complex industry

· Fluent language skills (written and verbal) in both English and German (one or more additional European languages are a big plus of course);

· Personal drive for sustainable solutions
