The job


This account manager will be first point of contact for our Oil & Gas account from a commercial perspective, and will be responsible for strengthening the relationship, developing business opportunities, quotations, and for managing the account during the business development phase, project execution and operational phase.  The account manager will be the first point of contact for our Oil & Gas account and will coordinate the fulfillment of the contracts in all the regions (Benelux/UK, FRISP and DACH) Some visits are to be expected to Rotterdam and London.



You will be:

  • Enabling the strategic accounts in their ambitions to create excellent charging experience by offering and executing the best charging solutions
  • Reporting to the MD Benelux/UK
  • Identifying strategic business development opportunities for the Oil & Gas account (including both corporate and dealer service stations), project together with the Allego O&G segment manager
  • Translate account ambitions and wishes into propositions, quotations and business cases
  • Proposing new products and services as and when requirements arise within projects
  • During project execution, attend together with Allego PMO fortnightly steering committee meetings with the Oil and Gas company and also internal project progress meetings
  • Liaising between the Oil & Gas company and Allego regarding possible operational improvements and manage these together with the relevant Allego teams.
  • Responsible for contract management
  • Responsible for sales reporting

You have:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years proven experience in B2B sales, especially in selling solutions in project settings;
  • Experience with multisite accounts (preferably on an international scale)
  • Experience with EV charging services.
  • Experience creating and maintaining strategic relationships
  • Experience in initiating new business models and concepts
  • Excellent language skills in English and Dutch; written and verbal.
